Portrait of my Grandmother.
This watercolor portrait is of my grandmother. She passed away in 2013, and this painting is based on a FaceTime screenshot from our last conversation. I wanted to preserve the warmth in her eyes, the softness of her expression, and the quiet strength etched into every line of her face. Painted freehand in layered, expressive washes, this piece is both a tribute and a memory—an attempt to hold onto a moment that meant so much to me.
